Dance Instructor
Responsibilities:

Create weekly lesson plans for classes

Keep studio space clean

Communicate with parents, students, co-workers, and supervisors

Source and appropriate music

Choreograph age appropriate and creative dances

Create plans for and execute themed camps for young dancers
Red River Dance and Performing Company is one of the most rewarding jobs I have ever had. I learn from my fellow teachers and from my students every day. I am given a lot of freedom to allow for creativity, but with freedom comes a great amount of responsibility. I must have good time-management in class by keeping my students on task and on pace with the skills they should be learning, and I need to make sure I am being a good role model to my students inside and outside of class.
